Made with Storyboard That

'Slippery' by Migos is a perfect example of a stereotypical hip-hop video; big house, expensive jewellery, drugs, expensive cars, girls in bikinis. A lot of the lyrics refer to 'ice', 'being cold' and 'anaemia', referring to their excessive use and wear of diamonds.
This scene is Offset's verse. His scene/verse in this video isn't as explicit as Quavo's, as he only has 1 girl with him. The convention of flexing (showing off what material possessions you own/how much money you have) is still here as he is wearing diamonds and a full designer outfit. Overall in this video isn't very narrative and is very performance based.
The 3rd verse in the video belongs to the feature of this song and Migos' close friend Gucci Mane (right). His whole scene takes place next to his convertible Rolls Royce Wraith, a very expensive and luxurious car, again strengthening the hip-hop convention of artists liking to flex. Although, like Offset and contrary to Quavo, Gucci isn't surrounded by women, instead is accompanied by his now wife Keyshia Ka'Oir. Gucci is seriously defying the stereotype/convention that rappers like to have about 10 women at once by not having just a girlfriend but a wife.
Another good possible location for our music video, and our most favoured, is Eastham Woods. We really like this location because like Hooton, it will look really effective when the natural lighting is dark, which suits our song and video ideas really well. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? https://prezi.com/view/0cZIDihKu67...
